I change my mind, it sounds more like "scatter about" from etrian odyssey. They both share repetitive melody to create tension and also use for bigger threats. Also, they are both composed by Yuzo as well.

The evil circus. I really like the madness and design here, especially when you go at the top of the map and now you're walking on the roof of the rooms, the world being upside down.

This one was the first real Castlevania since Legacy of Darkness, the others all tried to copy the 1997 spin off symphony of the night which a lot people praise as the best one and it was nice to get one with 2 players you can alternate again that was a straight forward action game with classic music. This was put in here for hardcore fans who have tracked down the arcade version of the first game.
